If you are on social media you know the craze – Younique 3D Mascara. If you aren’t on social media — maybe you haven’t heard about it! There is this amazing mascara on the market that all the ladies are chatting about! It’s amazing and stays on all day – running, at the beach, just a simple day….anytime it stays on looks amazing from the start of the day until the end. And, yes, it comes off with some simple make-up remover or baby shampoo!
So, what exactly is it?
The 3D Fiber lash Mascara is just a simple three-step process that combines Transplanting Gel and Natural Fibers to help create the appearance of incredible thickness and volume to your existing lashes. They are NOT false lashes. They are your own! The fibers are natural…made from Green Tea Leaves, hypoallergenic, and safe for contact lens wearers.
Younique has lots of other great products, but we’re focusing on the mascara for this review. All Younique products are natural based and mineral makeup. There’s no testing ever done on animals.
How’d it all work?
I know you’re wondering — so what did you think? Well…let’s start with some photos. First, I have a photo below of my eyes….they look exhausted, don’t they? (That’s what happens when you have kids…)
First, you can see the photo with no mascara….then, the other eye I had applied just a simple store mascara. I only apply to the upper eye lashes as it bothers me to apply to the lower lashes. Normally by dinner time, you wouldn’t even know I had mascara on. But, I have no photos of how that goes…
The above photo is the start of the day — after I applied the 3D Fiberlash Mascara. First, you apply the store brand mascara. Then, you apply the gel coat and third, the fiber lashes. I was worried I was going to get the fibers in my eye – I didn’t. And, I stood there for a while thinking — does this look ok? It’s definitely a little darker than my normal mascara. My 7-year-old daughter told me it made me look fashionable. It doesn’t feel any different than normal. Ok….maybe a little at first but by the middle of the day I didn’t notice anything – unless of course, I got a quick glance in the mirror to realize I still looked like I had mascara on!
The day was so busy. It’s not like I went running or weight lifting….I didn’t break out in a sweat. And, I don’t remember crying…but I may have laughed so hard tears did flow. It happens all the time with kids. ALL THE TIME. I had my normally busy day where I’m up and down and not sitting still. I’m running from here to there. It was crazy….dinner was served, activities were all finished and I finally had all the kids in bed….oh, snap! Look at those lashes….they look almost as good as they did in the morning…it looked WAY better than just my plain old’ mascara! Would I recommend these? Oh yes!
